SHIPPING & RETURNS 

SHIPPING & TURNAROUND

We provide one complimentary digital proof and two complimentary proof revision rounds with every order of personalised chocolate bars. After you place your order, you will receive your proof by email in 2 business days. For example, place your order on a Monday and receive your proof by Wednesday. Orders placed on Friday will receive a proof by the following Tuesday.

 

Orders placed during holiday closures will receive a proof two business days after the holiday. Each proof revision round requested will also take 2 business days to receive, so be sure to allow extra time for the proofing process. Once approved, your order goes to the production queue and will be printed exactly as shown on your proof.

 

To help ensure your personalised design is free of errors and typos, we require you to review your proof and give us your final proof approval before we can print and ship your order. If you request a revision after you submit your proof approval, we can only accommodate your revision request if we have not yet started production on your order. You will also be required to review the revised proof and resubmit your Proof Approval, which may result in a shipping delay.

STANDARD SHIPPING

Standard shipping is calculated by weight and sent via Australia Post. Turnaround times listed below begin the next business day after we receive your proof approval. Please note we will not print and ship your order until you approve your proof.

  • Personalised chocolate bars arrive in 8 business days with standard shipping after proof approval.  This turnaround time includes 5 business days for production and 3 business days for standard shipping. Saturday delivery is included.

Transit times for standard shipping are not guaranteed. Although it is generally fast and reliable, packages may arrive later on occasion. For this reason, your order cannot be returned or refunded due to late shipment. If your order is time sensitive, Rush Order Service is available for an extra charge as described below.

RUSH ORDER SERVICE

Rush Order Service is available for an extra charge and may be placed directly on our website by selecting the Rush Service option at checkout. The rush charge will be calculated and may be viewed during the checkout process. Rush orders receive expedited production and guaranteed shipping by Australia Post service. Please note we'll do our best to work with you to help ensure timely delivery of your Rush Order but cannot guarantee the turnaround times listed below until after we receive your proof approval. For this reason, please be sure to allow extra time for the proofing process.

  • Personalised Chocolate bars arrive next day with Rush Service. This turnaround time includes 3 business days for rush production and guaranteed 1-2 business days for shipping. Saturday delivery is included.

TRACKING CONFIRMATION

A confirmation e-mail with tracking information can be requested upon shipment of your order. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to be available.

INVOICES

We provide electronic invoices by e-mail after you place your order. If you would like a copy of your invoice, contact us and we'll be happy to resend it to you.

REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENT POLICY

We carefully package every order and will do our best to work with you to ensure smooth delivery of your package. We cannot, however, control the actual delivery of your order after your package leaves our hands and is accepted by the shipping carrier. After the shipping carrier accepts your package, the actual delivery of your package can be impacted by many events beyond Barilliant's control. For this reason, we cannot be held liable for late deliveries by the shipping carrier, lost or stolen packages, or service disruptions due to weather-related conditions and other natural disasters or events. Since we rely on the customer to provide us with a correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for delayed, lost or returned packages as a result of wrong address due to customer error. 

 

If your package is shown as delivered and you cannot locate it, we also suggest you do the following:

  • Check mailboxes for smaller packages.

  • Check for a parcel locker key if your mailbox is in a cluster unit.

  • Check areas outside of your house where packages are usually left by your delivery person, such as the front door, sideyard and backyard.

  • Look for a possible mail hold notice in your mailbox or attempted delivery notice left by the carrier near your front door.

  • Check with household members, building managers, front desk, mailroom and anyone else who may have accepted the delivery for you.

If your package is damaged or lost by the carrier in transit, please contact us immediately and we'll be happy to work with you on a discounted reprint.
